We did tonight! She wouldn't go to sleep. It was funny to see her look around like where's Daddy/Mommy?!? After 45 mins she finally went asleep after the last "R go to sleep!"

Ha, DH did once and I think it scared her. Now I'll talk to R if DH is in the room so I don't scare her.

I did once but I don't think she could hear me over her white noise machine

I did once when she was chewing on the crib. Just one firm "no!" She looked totally freaked and stopped.

No, it just pisses her off.

I will sometimes make a shushing sound that will help him wind down. Pretty sure he doesn't quite know where it is coming from

@avivoca: when DH first talked to her, I expected her to freak out and start crying but she laid down like he said!

Once and he freaked out and was afraid of the camera for a couple weeks afterwards!

All the time. Sometimes he sits up in his sleep in a kind of daze and if I tell him to lay down through the monitor he does and goes back to sleep.

Yup! We talk through it when she's meant to be napping but she's yelling/stalling. It nearly always makes her lie down and go to sleep

No! I think it would just piss him off or scare him. Im not against trying it though as a last resort!
