Yep, this totally happened to me at my old job. Basically for the same exact reason, I got so sick of taking phone calls and texts with questions that I would just have them leave it for me to deal with.

Buhahaha! I do it all the time too. Usually to do with not doing meal prep for the next day. But I left work for myself Friday thinking I would do it Monday, and now I have to take LO to the doctor! D'OH!

Never. I always take care of things right away. Just kidding, this is the epitome of who I am. When students ask me for make work, I often tell them that I will have it ready when they come back tomorrow. Yeah, no...

Um, I do this with weight loss, does that count? Haha

But, I am a huge procrastinator, so I basically do this all the time for everything.

I use this line all the time! I like to say "I think future me will be much more equipped to handle this situation."

Sometimes I really do feel like that way of thinking helps me to be able not to stress about things as much. Like if future me is going to handle this problem at work on Monday, I don't need to worry about it on Saturday. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who does this!!
