The government kind of does give you a stipend... on your tax return! Haha. When RJ was born (Dec 11) our accountant said "great! we can claim him for this year and he's only been alive less than a month!" haha.

@MamaMoose: sick days would be awesome! I've had a migraine for over a month now, my husband and mom are missing so much work because of it!

I do! I feel like if it was a gig we were actually paid for, more people would respect it. I still get surprised when I hear comments like, "Oh, that's all you do?" I makes me pretty sad, actually.
