@autumnlove: yeah 2 sets of twins, and 19 kids total. But still.. that is YEARS of pregnant time.. her 20th child she lost at 18 or so weeks I think too. I don't know how she does it/how her body lets her do it!

I was thinking that the other day!! She has had 2 m/c and I think 17 pregnancies! Ummmm do you think she needs or has plastic surgery?? I think she is late 40s.

I can NOT imagine putting my body through that! I really hope she stops at this point. Her 19th child was born extremely premature and then she lost her 20th child during her second trimester. I think her body is trying to tell her it can't handle any more pregnancies!

I think about her and Octomom a lot! Duggar because I can't imagine going through 17 years of my life pregnant and Octomom because I can't imagine how weird baby kicks would be with eight babies in there.

I always wonder this...maybe she's just one of those women who has it easy while pregnant? Still that's a long time to not sleep on your stomach, drink alcohol, etc. Pregnancy made me depressed so I know for sure I couldn't do it THAT many times!

To be fair, her second pregnancy ended in miscarriage. So it always made me sad when people judge her for her last miscarriage. They can happen to anyone!

I don't know. She just seems so... Blissful all the time. She's a lot like the mom of a guy I knew in high school who the oldest of 8 kids. I think some women just really love being pregnant and having babies.

I think about how she does it too... But my grandmother was one of 12 and my Papaw was one of 14. They grew up in the south, in the country where it was kind of common that long ago to have so many kids to help on the farm.
It's not the norm today, so it's unusual but they are able (seemingly) to provide a loving home for the kids and they aren't a drain on the system.
I can't imagine having that many, but more power to her! -
They don't believe in birth control, so I don't think she's exactly trying for more, it just keeps happening. She's been pregnant for 12.5 years. I can't even imagine! Her daughter in law is on her 2nd or 3rd already too

I do love watching the show. I think they have raised all the kids really well and if they want to have a bazillion kids and they are all contributing to society...more power!

i think about this all the time! i don't even know how i'll get through two pregnancies. 17? NO WAY.

I'm terrible because even though DH is from a big Irish Catholic family (everyone has minimum 6 kids) I don't care how many times she's been pregnant, I just wonder if she has MacGyvre rig her vagina together for her again at this point.
