Yes, totally. Especially in smaller but important things that change all the time-- like allergies, better to introduce early or late? Changes all the time but clearly one is VERY right and one is blatantly wrong!

Yes that happens all the time with food. I hope they prove cheeseburgers and fries are actually healthy!

I wish people wouldn't try to push whatever they happen to think is best. I wish people would stick to the facts and let others make their own decisions.

@2PeasinaPod: During our inlaw visit, my MIL kept on saying that she never stood a chance against not being a smoker because it was marketed to her heavily as a teenager growing up in the South. She's proud that she raised two non-smokers. Every time she said this, I kept on thinking in the back of my head about personal choice and sure that there's non smokers of her age group in the South who weren't influenced by ads, peers, etc.

@Dandelion: Potatoes aren't the best, but french fries don't necessarily have to be fried. You can bake them too and they are much healthier that way. Burgers aren't necessarily unhealthy (when cooked in a healthy way with good meat) either.

Yes! I'm really into the physics discoveries and advances that are being made.

I think a lot of people today assume we have learned everything we can, but there are always new discoveries. Just think about how far we have come in just the past 100 years.

I'm really interested in what will happen in the next 50 years. Especially in space exploration.

I totally think about this!! And I also thought you meant big scientific theories, too - like @looch: said - and I wonder about that, as well!! Oh and I wonder what will happen after I die - like, I get to the gates of heaven and find out that the Hindus are right, or something! (ps - I hope the Hindus are right, it's by far my favourite of the world religions!)

I definitely think when it comes to parenting, we (well, most of us, haha) instinctually know a lot more about our LO's needs than we understand.
I took classes and read books, which I don't regret doing, but DS was not a 'textbook' newborn at all. I wish I had listened/trusted myself more. Once I started listening to my gut and listening to DS, everything fell beautifully into place.
