It's not quite the weekend but I feel a little bit like we might need a lovefest. So what has your fellow HBer done for you lately - or what have you done for your fellow bees - that has left you feeling really good? Oh yes. I haven't been around long enough to be close to any particular bees but everyone here has been so thoughtful in their responses, private wall posts, etc. The encouragement, as a mom, has been needed and so wonderful! I
HB! I've also bought several things off of classifieds and some of those selling have included incredibly nice handwritten notes or even extra items. (I'm looking at you on the extra items, @NaturallyCathy: ! Thank you again.)
The notes were going the extra mile and definitely put a smile on my face.

I am not particularly close to any bees but feel like I can get support when I need it. Especially from those with the same due date or from WB.

I've bonded with a few Bees and they have been really sweet and supportive during a difficult time. There are also a few Bees that send well wishes on IG that I really appreciate!

Not in particular, but yes in general! I think the price I pay for wanting to stay pretty anonymous, is that I can't bond with anyone outside the boards, like on FB or IG, but I know I'd get support if I posted here asking for it, does that make sense? Lol.
@coopsmama: hey I know our LOs are pretty close in age, and just now I noticed we signed up for HB within a couple of days of each other!

There are two bees in particular that I talk to everyday, I love having them to chat with and keep me sane!!!

There are soooo many bees that I have major girly crushes on! A few I chat with more regular than others. I enjoy so so so many of you. I wish I were better about texting or emailing. Part of the reason I am not great is because I know you're all busy ladies and I don't want to annoy/interrupt! And I'm a boring person! hahaha. So, I have little to say. And the things I do say sometimes are weird. And I don't wanna be weird.

I think so! I have definitely felt supported. I've received sweet notes, nice wall messages, extras via the Classifieds, and even a package of sweet treats when my family was going through a tough time!

I like that no matter what time of the day it is, someone is always on! It's help my transition to motherhood less lonely that's for sure. I had the worst insomnia for the longest time.

Yes. I have a great group of November mama friends from HB that I feel have really helped me survive the first 8 months of motherhood!

Yes! I found HB two days after I started IVF...can't imagine IF , pregnancy, parenting, or twin motherhood without you guys

I have found HB to be a wonderful place of support! My first month board wasn't as active as they are now but there are a few that I feel like I sort of "know." And right now I am enjoying getting to "know" the ttc'ers.

I find it wonderfully supportive the vast majority of the time. I really love keeping up with people on IG too, it adds an extraordinary dimension to how I perceive people on the boards (which is to say, even more positively!). Even though I'm only close to a few bees, I definitely feel a connection with a lot of ladies even if we don't communicate a ton on the boards.

I just remember when I took a long break from the boards for a while, I really appreciated a few bees who checked in on me, on my wall. It was nice to know they were thinking of me

Absolutely! Many of you know the past month has really sucked for me. I've been kind of a train wreck & have been avoiding talking face to face with ppl about things because it's hard to keep it together when I speak aloud about it, but everyone here has been amazing! I've gotten so many sweet msgs, had great convos, and gotten two sweet pkgs- one from @lovehoneybee: & one from @autumnlove. I was really sad when I thought I'd be losing HB in addition to everything else, but I'm really happy I decided to hang out a little longer because I feel like so many of you are friends.

Definitely. When I was at the end of my pregnancy and starting to break down, HB was so supportive with all of my craziness. They really helped me through it. I've made a few close bee friends too!

Honestly, not for me. I'm assuming it's bc I'm new to HB. I posted something looking for help or advice and got zero responses. So as far as personal interaction/support my answer is no, however I love reading the blog posts and have gotten many ideas so it works for me that way.

I feel like a little sensitivity in how we try to get across online could go a long way - sometimes I feel like comments I see might be made casually/sarcastically if made in person, but it's not always easy to read intent online. I am admittedly a sensitive person, and know life isn't always rainbows, but I think there can be a happy medium

For the most part, yes! I think we have a tendency to overlook the newbies sometimes, and there is definitely drama, but 95% of the time this is a supportive site where I feel like I've made friends.
In particular, shout out to @babyjmama: for being my home girl, and keeps me sane during my work days.

Absolutely! I was grateful for all of the support I had before/during/after M's ear tubes were put in. I know it was just a minor surgery, but I was freaking out. While she was in the OR I read through the thread I started while I was in the waiting room...it was great to have all of that support and it kept me optimistic

my feelings weren't hurt or anything.. I was just stating my honest opinion. I joined HB b/c now that I'm a new mommy I relate more to these posts/blogs then the WB ones and I mostly joined so that I could get advice/help with things since I'm a FTM... sooo when I posted looking for that feedback and I got squat it kinda makes me question the "helpfulness/support" of the HB. And I'm not bashing HB or saying it doesn't work for others BUT for me it hasn't. And due to the crickets I received on my first post I haven't posted again and probably won't...... I'll look elsewhere to a place where I know I'll get some advice/feedback. I obviously still visit the HB and post on others threads but so far thats it...
