I sing made up stuff all day long to J. She loves it. I have lyrics for diaper changes, when I'm showering, when I'm getting ready to feed her, getting in the car seat...the list goes on and on, lol. I swear she's got favorite songs too cause when I sing those she laughs and laughs but doesn't like it if I change the lyrics.

yep I make up songs for LO too, in the beginning I felt less silly singing to her than talking to her and now its become a habit. now she sings along

I'm not really musically inclined, but I definitely have broken out into song during diaper changes!!! Sometimes it's the only thing that distracts Xander and keeps him from crying!

I don't think my toddler likes it when I sing to him... the other day I was singing something, and he asked me, "mommy like that song?" And I said "yes! Do you?" And he said no, haha. I guess it was a polite way to ask me to stop

Yes! I sing everything to him! Diaper changes, bath time, breakfast/lunch/dinner... He loves when I move his arms to my singing!

@emg86: we have a super change song too!!!! We've sang it to C since she was born. It makes her crack up.
We make up songs a lot. And, Daniel tiger had 473776 songs per episode, so yes.. I feel like I'm in a musical.
