I do both!
Last year I bought 20ishlbs of the crunchiest and sweetest organic grapes for .99/lb. 
Ended up freezing what we couldn't eat and snacked on frozen grapes for weeks.

I do pick your own in season and freeze it. Or I freeze the fruit we grow. I can't remember the last time I bought any!

I love frozen fruit! Frozen grapes are my favorite. Well maybe frozen strawberries.
