one of my coworkers has kindly offered me almost all her toys. definitely going to take her up on some items. but otherwise, not many hand me down toys.

So far yes because my sister's twins are 10 months older than my LO, but that will decrease as they get more longer term toys.

@autumnlove: Legos are expensive so that's so nice. My MIL saved everything of my DH's but the Legos are about the only thing I'm excited about!

Maybe 30% of her toys are hand me downs. I share with friends what she has outgrown.

Probably 3/4 of our toys were hand me downs from my two nephews. It. Is. Awesome.
Though I am sort of proud to say that her current favorites are ones Dh and I actually picked out. Makes me feel like I know my kid.

@autumnlove: not too much, we don't have a lot of little kids in our family yet. My sister in law gives me some stuff (her son is 1.5 yrs older then mine) but it gets expensive because she has to ship it.

We only have a few hand me down toys, most of which go straight to Goodwill.
