Playdates, dinners, hanging out at a friend's house, etc?
I don't because people can invite who they want! My friend likes to "call people out" when she isn't included....she might comment on a friend's picture on social media and say "looks fun, bummer I wasn't invited" and other stuff like that.

Nope. But one of my two BFFs in town used to be HEARTBROKEN if the other two of us would get togehter without her. (not on purpose, just time/availability/locale) ... the two are no longer friends with one another after a gradual falling apart over time.

Oh I am so guilty of this...the other day I was texting with my bff she lives a plane ride away. Well half way through our Beyonce album critique I asked her what she was up to. She was at a small concert with some new pals. My response was "once again having fun without me." She is probably so tired of hearing that. But I do miss her and wish I could share some of those memories with her.

There is a difference between being hurt and calling someone out on it. I do get hurt sometimes when I'm not invited but the only person I tell is my husband. I'm allowed my feelings but I make the choice to then move on from it.

I get embarrassed for people that call others out for stuff like this. I think it makes the whole situation awkward for everyone.

Sometimes I get bummed if I'm not invited, but I try to NEVER make someone feel guilty for not inviting me! It's their prerogative who they invite to things and if they don't want to include me for whatever reason, that's their choice! I've been guilty of not inviting everyone I know to everything I do too and I HATE it when people give me grief about it, so I try not to give others grief!
Actually, this is one of the reasons I'm no longer good friends with my maid of honor. We were BFFs and we used to hang out all the time, but when I reconnected with my old (and now current) BFF, my maid of honor would ALWAYS give me grief about doing things without her. Always always always!!! It was soooooo annoying and it made me not want to hang out with her at all! And now we're barely friends, which is sad (although there are other reasons for that, not just the annoying guilt-tripping).

I sometimes get my feelings hurt but I NEVER say anything unless it's something important. For example, my BFF since the 3rd grade turned 21 in July...I was about 7 month pregnant & also happened to have a terrible cold & cough at the same time but we've never missed a birthday so I went to lunch with her & our friends & her family. Afterward everyone said goodbye to me and then stood around in the parking lot planning a trip to the lake for the rest of the day & I wasn't blantaly invited. I tried to let it go but for some reason it bugged me. So I just kindly pointed out that I know her birthday is all about her & not me but it did hurt my feelings that I wasn't included. It wasn't a big deal. I am pretty good at letting things go but if I can't I always say something privately & NEVER make it a blame thing.

Absolutely not. I completely trust my friends to invite me whenever it's appropriate and never intentionally leave me out. You can't include everyone all the time and I get that, my feelings would never be hurt.

Smaller things, yeah, it bums me out but I don't say anything. The worst though are big events. I moved out of state so I am used to not being invited to everything for my best friends, but one friend who didn't invite me to any of her wedding events hurt me. It was more just that I was shocked. Months earlier she had been at my wedding event! And I'm talking smae group of friends, since HS. I got not invited to things like that sometimes because "oh but you wouldn't be able to go!" True usually, but I would have sent a gift and also, it would have spared my feelings. I invited EVERYONE who I knew couldn't go because I wanted them to know I'd want them there. The friend in question who didn't invite me to anything? We're not friends anymore. I stopped trying! It's hard work to keep up a friendship when you live in different states, so why bother if they don't seem to care!!? (end rant!)

I haven't had any cause to complain about something like that. I guess if I felt like my friends were purposely excluding me for some petty reason then I'd be upset but that hasn't happened.

Nope! But I have one friend that gets so upset if say I go to lunch with another friend and we don't ask her. But then she goes to lunch/dinner with our friends solo all the time.

Depends on the person/occasion. Normally no because the people we care the most to hang out with always invite us. Even though they know we probably can't make it, they extend the invite to let us know they thought about us. Love my friends!

My feelings used to get hurt all the time by this but it doesn't bother me as much anymore. I would never say anything to anyone though!

Nah, but now I wonder if I ever hurt someone's feelings by not including them, even if it's not on purpose!
It's so hard to schedule with a bunch of people, so I either decide early if something is going to be a group thing, but if it's more last minute/spontaneous it would usually just be me & someone else.

I admit, I do get bummed out and slightly hurt. Depending on how close I am to the person, I have mentioned it privately (but not publicly). I am largely the "connector" between a lot of my friends, so it bums me out when 2 people who met through me end up hanging out without me. Infantile, I know

Depending on the situation, I might feel a bit bummed, but I'd only ever say anything to my DH or sister. We're all adults, I don't expect them to involve me in every aspect.
If it's something blatantly hurtful, I'll privately talk to them in a productive way and just express that I was hurt but I understand. The passive aggressive stuff (like OP mentioned) drives me insane! If someone brought up an issue like that to me it would make me want to invite them to even fewer events.

I used to get upset and get my feelings hurt, but now I just don't care because, chances are, I'm usually too busy w/ DD to even think of scheduling something else.

Not specifically. Although, now that I have LO and some of my childless friends have kind of stopped even extending the invite to go out for drinks or whatever kind of sucks. Even though I'm breastfeeding and LO won't take a bottle so either have to decline if I can't get there and back in 3 hours and can't actually have a drink... hopefully I'll eventually get back to being able to do girls nights out and the friends will re-remember me!

I sometimes wonder why I didn't get invited, but it's kind of rare, and I'd never say anything...especially not publicly! I'm sure we've all been on the other side - not thought to invite someone to something - and our intents haven't been malicious. I would be annoyed if someone called me out on something like that...especially on FB...it just kind of makes them look pathetic?

Not at all. If anything I have turned into more of an introverted homebody and have been trying to scale back on social obligations. When I do socialize, I'd prefer it to be a small/intimate gathering.

I get bummed (if they are really good friends of mine) but I never say anything.
