My mom always did for us. Usually a CD or book and a lot of candy. Maybe a necklace or something.
I didn't really think I would do it with my kids. Especially since T's bday is exactly a week after VDay. Maybe once my kids are preschoolers I will.

I don't have anything for Liam this year, but I might still get him something small. My mom always gave me a card and something little, like a stuffed animal or something.
Last year, I made Liam a book called "Who loves Liam?" and it had pictures of his family and some close friends.

I got her a book and will probably get her a few small things. DH will get her a flower! My dad always gave me flowers growing up and it is such a good memory.

Nope... I don't consider it to be a holiday. I might make heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast on Saturday, but not sure yet.

I got him a book and plan to make him heart shaped pancakes. MIL usually gets the grandkids an outfit so she's planning to get him one. But really I think she just wanted an excuse to buy some cute baby clothes!!

My kids love Star Wars Rebels and I found 2 costumes on clearance for $10 each - so DS is getting a Storm Trooper and DD is getting Ezra - which she loves!!!

We did this year. We both always got vday gifts and i think it is sort of fun. Also we are really pretty good about not buying a lot of stuff for LO generally (not even a ton for Christmas) so I like an excuse to get her a little something. We got her a set of cardboard block and a little play rotary phone.

Yep. My parents did for all of their children, and I loved it. He will probably get a cookie (rare, rare treat) and some bubbles. My parents get the grandkids something small every year too - last year he got a bib and a stuffed puppy.

Yep she's getting a train track, she's obsessed with trains lately, so I got her that with some new Thomas the Train magnetic trains to go with the ones she already has. Bought it off a swap site, but it's new to her!

When I was little, my parents always left us little gifts outside of our doors from the Valentine's Frog (they also left us gifts from the Leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day). They were always small, red gifts - red pencils, red heart-shaped erasers, a small pack of Big Red gum....stuff like that. It was always so fun to open our doors in the morning to see what "Froggie" had left us! I will probably do the same.

@LAWBEE11 I got the same book for my son, he loves it! We've been reading it for a couple weeks already.
I might get him something else for the day since I want him to feel like my special valentine, but he's 14 months so he probably won't appreciate it too much.
I sent photo cards from him to a few family members and they were a hit.

My mom never got us anything for valentines day. Some years I think she baked cookies, but mostly to give to others, not us lol. I probably won't do valentine's day gifts with my kids.
