I'm thinking about doing an overnight date when we visit my family in two weeks. I will wait until we get there to see how my LOs do with my parents...I also hope LO 2's teething issues subside by then!

Yes! Unfortunately our last date night was cut short because LO cried for 3 hours minus the time she was watching tv.

We do, we go to a hotel in town, have a nice dinner, etc. when we visit my husband's parents.

No, but our parents live so close that if we want a date night or an overnight date, we just drop LO off with them and then go. Luckily MIL LOVES having overnights, my mom not as much right now since my sister and BIL and their 2 kids are living with them while their house is being finished. I think we are going to have to plan on soon though, LO has kind of been a terror lately and this momma and daddy need a break...and some sushi

We haven't been to ILs since LO was born and only went to my parents for 1 night. But our only two dates have been times when my parents were visiting!

Yes, because my family lives far away and we don't have many babysitters nearby. The almost always offer to watch her so that we can get a date.

We have both parents nearby. We probably average a date night every 2 months over a year.

No, but they want us to I have a problem leaving A with them because I feel like she doesn't know them and they don't know her when they only see each other for a few days a year. I will be better about it when she's older - I think!
