Post LASIK, I have 20/40 vision without glasses... correctable to 20/30 with glasses.
What's your vision like?

@mrbee: Is Lasik supposed to give you 20/20? Are you annoyed that you still have to wear glasses?

@highwire: I don't wear glasses! I just jack up my font sizes a little bit, and I'm good to go.
Everyone is a little bit better looking this way too!

@mrbee: I got Lasik too, and it used to be AMAZING... but after two pregnancies, my vision has gone to crap again
I'll probably need to do another round of Lasik within the next few years. I don't want to do it until I know for sure I'm done with kids though.

I am terrified of LASIK! only because I hear that the smell during the procedure is a little....overwhelming?
I am terribly near sighted, but I have no idea what the figures are.

@looch: yup, it smells like burning... kind of like when you burn a bit of your hair off (don't ask me how i know that, haha)

Without contacts, I'm pert near blind. After kids, I'm hoping to get LASIK.

I had 20/20 vision until I worked on the computer all day at 25. That's when I had to get glasses.... and they just keep getting worse as I grow old.

Nope. I don't know what it is but it's not bad enough to need glasses all the time, but it's also not 20/20.
I have glasses; I just don't wear them.

No way, its worse after pregnancy too. I'm near-sighted and I wear glasses.

I think I have 20/20. I don't wear glasses.... but I do have mild astigmatism, I'm told.
I'll probably need to do another round of Lasik within the next few years. I don't want to do it until I know for sure I'm done with kids though.
