I'm trying to come up with a chore schedule so that I'm not constantly cleaning or doing housework. I've found a few samples on Pinterest but was wondering if any of you ladies have a schedule that works for you?
Ideally I'd like to spend less than 2 hrs cleaning each day, with weekends off since that's our family time

I just do one room a day. Mine is like this
Monday: bedrooms
Tuesday: kitchen
Wednesday: bathrooms
Thursday: living room
Friday: laundry
Weekends off unless I decide to do all the floors in one day so DH can entertain LO.
I also unload this dishwasher each morning and load it, tidy up the kitchen each night. And make the beds every morning.

No. We have a service that comes in and sometimes we clean it ourselves. A chore vhart would just collect dust in my house.

I only do lauundry on the weekends and I do a general 15 minute pick up every night. Other than that, there is no schedule.

Nope. It's "whatever I can get done that day." Some days I'm a cleaning machine, other days I don't get a thing done. I'm lucky in that DH doesn't care one bit if he comes home and the house is a disaster, the living room turned into a big playroom- he just joins in!

We just started one! I'm going back to work in two weeks and figured we would need one. So far it's:
Mon: Guest bath
Tues: Master Bath
Wed: Floors
Thurs: Dust/straighten up
Fri: Free Day
Sat/Sun: Yard work
Every day: Laundry/clean kitchen
I've stuck to it pretty well so far, but I'm also still on mat leave. We'll see how it goes when I get back!

We don't have a chore chart, but use Chorewars.com to encourage chores to be done. I generally do laundry on Wednesdays, my permanent WFH day. I have a rotating other WFH day that I do other chores on occasionally. Weekends are chore free for me. Sometimes, DH does chores during naptime.

What if you do one room of the house/day? Like Monday is bathrooms, Tuesday is living room, Wednesday is kitchen, etc?....
I just do things haphazardly, but deep cleaning is done every other week by a company for $75/visit. I usually start in one room of the house and work my way towards the kitchen (my least favorite!)
