Do you have a company Christmas/Holiday party this year?

Yes, my company party was last Sunday and it was a blast! One of the execs and his wife got too drunk...and had to get a room!

Yep! My company has one each year, it's very formal and stuffy, usually kinda boring but the food is always spectacular.
My husband is self employed, however he does have a few employees so I host a Christmas dinner for him and his guys and their spouses.

Nope! I work for the government so we can't have a party using "public funds". My husband had one though!!!

Yep, at a bowling alley with catered BBQ. I bowled four strikes in a row...probably a once in a lifetime occurrence, haha.

We had a potluck that was a lot of fun. No big party off-site because the boss forgot to tell anybody to book it. Next year we all want to do a nice steakhouse.

Yes both DHs company and mine had holiday parties. We couldn't attend because I was out of town for work.

Yes... It was lame this year. I'm spoiled by the awesome parties we used to have prior to the recession!

It's so stressful and I'm always so happy when it's over! Everyone always gets drunk and tells me how much they like it though, so I guess that's nice......? I do always get the dirt of what happens though, hehe

We just get a department lunch as our holiday party. It's a nice excuse to get everyone together and see faces you don't normally see.

I think there's supposed to be one, but I haven't heard anything yet (I had to plan ours last year, it was miserable...).

We had a low-key holiday lunch and half day today, it was a great kick off to the 4 day weekend!

We have a department white elephant gift exchange in december and then we have an annual company party sometime in March/April. The annual party is black tie and so much fun. Open bar, awesome food, dancing. Last yar they had casino games with prizes.

Both our workplaces had very small Christmas functions on the last days they were open. We just went stag to them... Very different to previous years.
