Will you refinish/paint your crib?
I might touch up the top rail if we have a 3rd LO!

DS gnawed up the railing but we're not fixing it for M. We figure M is just gonna gnaw it up more. Once he's done we'll toss it lol.

Yessssss. It's so bad. We put a rail protector on the front but now she chews on the sides. And the sides are solid (not slats) and the top is curved so there is really no way to put a rail protector on there.

We have rail protectors on the front and sides, but he's never really shown interest in chewing on them.

She started at maybe 9 months. I made rail covers quickly and put them on before she did much damage. Not going to refinish for a future LO but I might just leave the guards on from the beginning.

Yep! I'm not going to refinish it though. I'm sure it will just get eaten up more!

YES! I didn't care about the finish, I just didn't like the idea of him ingesting paint/wood chips. We now use this crib rail cover:

He doesn't seem interested in gnawing on the fabric.

Yes!!! We have covers on the front and sides. It's a little gross because she just drools all over them too.

She gnawed it a little bit before I thought to cover it! I have plastic snap on covers for the front, nothing for the sides...but she hasn't touched them.

Yes, but luckily the way the crib is designed she could really only get around one section. I would make a cover for it if it got too bad.
