I read him The Gruffalo and The Lorax pretty much every day. He doesn't really seem interested (in any book I read) except to try to eat them. I also read him Goodnight Moon after nursing before I put him down for the night.

LO is a big fan of Snuggle Puppy and the Going to Bed Book, both by Sandra Boynton. I try to mix it up but he usually protests if I read anything else!

DS looooves Goodnight Gorilla. He's only 6 months but chuckles at the "goodnight, goodnight, goodnight, etc" part every time. i personally love reading On the Night You Were Born. It's so sweet.

I like reading Goodnight Moon and the Sandra Boyton books Pajama Time and The Going to Bed Book before bed. Very Hungry Caterpiller is also one of my favorites Norah loves any books with a mirror in in because she loves to look at herself!

@autumn865: i love Pajama time. "Jamma jamma jamma jamma pj!" She especially loves the last page of the book when my voice gets quieter and quieter.
I like reading The Going To Bed Book. It is short and sweet, and i have been reading it to her since she was 3 months old.

LO loves "Little Blue Truck". He is obsessed with it and loves to "read" it on his own throughout the day.

Those are the ones we bring when we travel b/c they're the only ones that I don't get bored of! DD especially likes Brown Bear, b/c there are little doors that she can open, and its a board book.

LO's favourites are all Aussie books right now - And Kangaroo Played the Didgeridoo is her favourite and mine as well. She also loves the Aussie edition of If You're Happy and You Know It and the Aussie edition of the Wheels on the Bus.

The current favorite in our house is I Want My Hat Back. LO says "uh oh" every time she sees the rabbit wearing the stolen hat.

@jmarionsmith: We LOVE this too. My son is 2.5 and before I can even start reading he starts whispering his name and awe in his eyes. SO SO SWEET!! He also starts wiggling his toes as soon as we get to that page and looks up at me to make sure I notice!

@skibobrown: We read Little Blue Truck 10 times a day for AT LEAST 6 mos. It was the book we always ready my son when he sat on the potty. NEVER get bored of it. Even now

My son is loving "Are you my mother?" by Dr. Seuss. He cracks up every time I read it to him.
