Since we den tell landlord had to provide us with one. Luckily we've never bad to use it. It was new when we moved in. Need to check when it expires.

Yes but I never used it. We did have a little kitchen fire where the smoke alarm alerted me while LO was in her crib. It was so scary. I took the burning item and placed it in the sink. NOT what to do, according to the fireman's speech I heard last week.

Yes. I think it's in the garage though. We might have another one at the top of the basement stairs, which is next to the kitchen. Should check that out for safety reasons. Thank you for the reminder.

I'm from SoCal. I'm not a stranger to fires. We live in a wooden house; I made sure we had fire extinguishers, even though DH thinks I'm paranoid for having 3. One's near the kitchen, one's close to the fireplace, and the 3rd is in the laundry room. Thankfully, we never had to use them.

Yikes! Yes, we have two..one in the garage and one in the kitchen that's supposedly specific to kitchen type fires.
