Still moving in but right now our 'linen closet' area is in our guest bedroom's closet. We have a hall closet but it currently holds shower supplies and first aid stuff. Still need to decide where it should go.

In our master bath and one outside the guest full bath

We have two. One in our basement bathroom (the laundry room is next to it, so this is handy), and one in our upstairs hallway (central to all 3 bedrooms and the upstairs bath).

I just keep sheets in each room according to where they belong to and a set of towels in each bathroom. That way I don't have to use a whole closet just for sheets and towels

@char54: Oh, I like that idea!!! Though, our bathrooms don't have a ton of storage space, but I could think of some wall mounted storage. Thanks!!

We use our hall closet, but we don't have too many so there's other stuff in there as well.

Each bathroom has a linen closet in it.
I grew up in a split level built in the 40s and that house had a linen closet in the hallway.

In our new place, there's just one in the master bathroom. In this rental, there's one in the hallway outside DS's bathroom.

We do, it is between the two hall bedrooms but not especially close to the bathroom. It is great for extra bed linens, pillows, the air mattress etc. and we keep the "emergency" towels in there. The towels we regularly use get stored in the appropriate bathroom.

It's right outside our upstairs bathroom. Congrats on the move!

@snowjewelz: Thanks. We've been here a month and still got boxes to unpack.

@bluestriped bee: we have a little shelf outside our bathrooms for our towels.
But we do have a big hall linen closet. But it's slowly being taken over with games, wrapping supplies, first aid, etc.

@bluestriped bee: I always had a linen closet until our most recent move and it frees up so much space!
I keep each set of sheets inside the pillowcase and put them in the bedroom closets. Towels I roll up and put in a basket or in the vanity depending on the bathroom storage. Good luck unpacking! Such a big job!

Both of our bathrooms have closets, so I keep towels, cleaning supplies and bath stuff there. Sheets are in the bedrooms they correspond with. (Different sized beds in each room.)

@bluestriped bee: take it one box at a time and enjoy making it into your home!

In our hallway. I keep sheets, towels, tablecloths and our portable room heaters and fans in there too. Could definitely consolidate some of the sheets/towels onto shelves in there and have more storage space. I need to get some cute baskets to put in there ...

The bathrooms. And when I say that, I mean they share a closet. It's just as awkward as it sounds. My hubs likes to try and have conversations through the closet.

@snowjewelz: Yeah, I should do one box at a time. It's just overwhelming seeing those boxes sit in our garage. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to do one box tonight!
@char54: So where do you put beach towels that don't particular go in one bathroom?

We have one in our master bath and just outside our guest bath room is a nice big linen closet.

@bluestriped bee: during winter I keep them inside a suitcase in a spare bedroom closet. During summer , when we are using them almost daily, I keep them on a shelf in our laundry room since that's where they end up anyway at the end of the day!

@char54: Cool! Excellent. I think that will work for us! Thanks!

We have a small closet in the upstairs hallway outside of the bathroom and bedrooms. We keep all the sheets and bath towels in there, and first aid and extra shower supplies, and a couple duffel bags/back packs/travel supplies on the floor.

In our current house we have no linen closet. In fact, there are only 3 closets in the house. It's a mess. We keep linens in the bedroom closets (ours in the master closet, guest linens in guest closet) and towels on a rolling cart in the bathroom.
We move next week. In addition to having WAY more storage/closets in the new house, it also has a linen closet in the upstairs hallway, central to all of the bedrooms and the guest bath. Can't wait!

Ours in the hallway close to the spare bedrooms.
In our new house it's in the laundry room, which is on the second floor with the bedrooms.

We have two hall closets, so one is the linen closet and the other has cleaning supplies and a little bit of general storage space.

We keep our sheets and towels in what will be the nursery. Not ideal!

In our current home the only space to store linens is the closet in the downstairs bathroom where the washer and dryer are. So annoying! So we have linens stashed in dresser drawers and on closet shelves in every room upstairs. The home we're moving into has a linen closet in the upstairs hall and I AM PSYCHED!!!!
