I have...16 I think? I was really close with 3 of them (they lived a mile or two away) and pretty close with 2 more. I'm only FB-close with a couple of them, now.
D doesn't have any cousins, on either side!

Nope! I have all of 3 first cousins; and our family is scattered all around the country.

My parents are having a 4th of July picnic with my dad's side of the family. My mom and I counted 68 people.
That's.. a LOT of cousins (18 of the 68 is my immediate family).

Not a lot and not really. My dad was the youngest and almost all of my cousins on that side are way older.

Nope; when I was young I had cousins that were much older. And then my other cousins are much younger, plus we moved away so we don't see any of them regularly.

No. Only one of my aunts/uncles ever married and he only had 3 children.

I have 31 cousins on my dad's side (not including their spouses and kids), and 2 on my mom's side. I was close with several.

I have 24 cousins. I'm close to quite a few of them.

I have a ton of cousins and though I was around several growing up I wouldn't say I am close to any of them.

I have 7 first cousins. We live all spread over the country, and only 2 of them are roughly the same age, so I wouldn't say I grew up super close to them, but I was closer to different ones at different times of my life. Like, one used to spend a couple weeks with my family each summer growing up, and we had coordinated visits to our grandparents so we could be together then.

I have 13 first cousins, but I'd say I'm "close" with just a couple of them.
I'm closer with some of my second and third cousins. My grandfather was an orphan and raised by his aunt, so his cousins were like siblings (so my dad's second cousins were like first cousins).
About 16-20 of the female cousins in that family get together each year for a weekend at the beach. It's one of my favorite things!

I'm close with all of my cousins on my mom's side (4 boys, all younger than I am), but none of my cousins on my dads side (8 of them, only one girl).

Yes. I was close to some of them growing up (from moms side), we're not close anymore though. I was the youngest cousin on my dads side, and we lived in a different state from them, so we weren't close. Its actually kind of strange to think, but some of my cousins on my dads side are closer in age to my parents than to me. LOL

I have 4 on my dad's side and 4 on my mom's side. I was close with my maternal cousins growing up--the ones on my dad's side were either much older than me or lived out of state.

Depends on your definition of a lot. Not counting spouses, I have 14.
Growing up, 7 were local, and 7 lived in other states. Unfortunately almost all the ones that were local were a good bit older than me (3-13 years older) so we weren't really all that close. The ones that lived in other states were all much closer to my age (youngest was 3 years younger, oldest was 3 years older) so I got along with them much better and whenever they visited was like, the BEST thing ever.
