I did but then she was let go because she couldn't put in more hours at the salon. =( She asked me to go to her home but it's 30-40 minute away, one way. I just don't have time to drive that far. I tried a new stylist this week and she wasn't as good. Sigh.

I used to when we were in Georgia. She always did a great job, especially on my eyebrows! Then we moved to Kansas and I got two sucky cuts from two different people. Hoping to find someone good here!

Yep. I went to one lady from the time I was 4 or 5 until I was 17ish. Then I started going to my current stylist and still haven't switched. I really like her!

It's so hard to find a hair stylists that suits you! I had one in ny but I don't live there anymore. But I've actually found one I really like here. I've only gone to him once. I wanted to try out some others but didn't like them so I may go to him again next time.

it took me so long to find my stylist, but now i only go to her. she is fantastic with my cut and color, i get compliments from strangers quite often.

When I lived in OK, I did. I just recently found one in TX. I'm so glad I found them because I've tried other people and OMG! There's just something about Asian hair that only certain people know how to cut....

Nope...I always try but it's like they get lazy or something and don't do as good of a job the more often i go so I always end up switching. Then when I had LO I just grew my hair out super long. I did finally get it cut (at 6 months pp) and liked the girl a lot so I will try going to her regularly.

@Alivoo01: I used to only go to Japanese hair stylists when I lived in the city. They are amazing. I found one out here but it's kind of an inconvenient drive so I've been too lazy to check it out.

I do. We grew up living across the street from each other and her mom is a stylist so we'd play hair salon and she'd do my hair. Now she does it for real!

Yes, he's a family friend of ours, and he's amazing! He owns his own salon in our downtown, in a very ritsy little place. Buuutt we get our hair done VERY discounted
But I am actaully starting to go to his daughter now because he is cutting back his hours. She is just as amazing, she learned from the best -
I've only had one person do my hair in my entire life. She's done my parents hair since they got engaged 31 years ago and has done our whole family ever since. I still went to her every 5 weeks even when I lived 45 minutes away.

Yes! One of my close friends from high school who is now 1 1/2 hours from me. I tried 5 other salons near me and can't find anyone who makes me as happy as Rachel does. So I drive the 1 1/2 hours for my haircuts. Totally worth it.

yes but she is super expensive (for color/highlights) so i tried someone cheaper locally, and you get what you pay for.

Yes and I'd follow her to the moon and back! I drive over 30 mins to get to her and have followed her to 3 salons. I agree with @Mrs. Bee: you get what you pay for!

Yes ma'am, my sister is actually my hairdresser so I go to her salon. I'd follow her if she moved because 1. She does it for free, 2. she's really great at doing my hair 3. I like talking to her when I go

Yes, but I've had different ones over the years due to moves and stylists leaving the salon or the profession, I really like my current one.

Yes, I go to a friend. I have had three amazing hair stylists in the past few years but two of them moved and the third one just got way too difficult to book and too expensive. I love my friend, she's still learning my hair and preferences though!

I always used to wherever I lived, but this last move has left me stylist-less. I tried a couple I hated, found one I liked and she moved away. The last person I used was okay, but I'm not sure I'll use her again.

Yes, She is an hour from me now, but I heart her and she is very affordable so I keep going. She is close to my parents so the location still works. She has been doing my hair for 12 years now.

I adore my stylist, it was brutal when she went on mat leave...I mostly just didn't get my hair cut. I was lucky because she was the first one I tried when I moved to town and she cut my hair perfectly the first time!
