I do! I move my hips from side to side to rock myself to sleep. Sometimes I rub my feet together too. And if I'm really really tired, I will revert (in my sleep) to my childhood self-soothing technique of flopping my left foot.

My mom does the hip thing! She lays on her tummy and shakes herself to sleep.
I don't do anything to self soothe. I just fall asleep. does sex count? B/c that always makes me sleepy. Sorry if TMI!

I lay on my left side and do yoga breaths. Deep breaths in and out on counts of 5 or 6.

@Weagle: I shake my left foot too! If I'm really having trouble falling asleep, I start at my toes and clench and relax every muscle in my body all the way up to my face. It's something I learned in a yoga class years ago and it always works.

I never knew I was doing this until I read the thread but I repeat a prayer I memorized. When I was a nervous prego I started to repeat a mantra so I still do that if I'm anxious.
