I have a temper, I'm not afraid to admit it, it's a part of me. I do worry about my temper and parenting. Do you have a temper? How do you manage it when you get frustrated with your child/children?

Yes I have a temper and I'm very stubborn! I have tried to keep it in check over the years, but sometimes it flares up!

I don't have a temper at all. When I start getting frusterated with lo, like if I need to change her diaper and she's crazy wiggly and rolling over and crawling away, I usually just take a step back, look at the situation, and start laughing.

I do but not that bad. But my husband definitely does. When he's about to lose his temper, he just lets out a big SIGH and walks away. I worried about him and his temper before having our son but he loves his SO much that it keeps him under control.

No, I don't have a temper at all. I can't even remember the last time I raised my voice to yell (except maybe at a sports game). I tend to get more sad and sulky during/after fights or when I am frustrated.
My DH is the one with the temper. I was raised in a house where it was NEVER okay to raise your voice at anyone, so at first his temper freaked me out. But I have just learned that we all handle our emotions differently!

Yep. I'm stubborn and headstrong and have a loud voice.

Unfortunately, I do. Nervous how this will affect my future pregnancy and raising the kiddos since they said the fetus can feel and absorb the "temper".

I do, but only rarely and I hate it. It makes me feel awful if it flares up. I don't think its my natural tendency. My parents were yellers and I think I learned it from them. I don't want to be a yeller with my kid, but I don't have one yet so don't know if it will rear its head. I try very hard to rationalize situations when I feel my temper coming on and this helps. I prefer to be calm.

Yes I do. However, around my students at school I'm usually VERY patient (which is a must with 17 little kids). I hope I'm like that with my own LOs.

I don't have a temper, but even as someone who is pretty easy going, toddlers especially can be very trying on the nerves. Sigh. Some days are more of a struggle than others, but if I start to feel like I'm losing my temper, I just close my eyes for a minute and try to regain control. Then I deal with the situation at hand as quickly as possible and find some way to get a few minutes to myself so I can calm down all the way.

I have a temper only when I'm PMSing. I am passive aggressive and stubborn. I can bottle things up and explode at a later date.

I don't! I get annoyed with people easily though.

I have a temper and I am so stubborn. The only way I can calm down is to walk away from the situation. I don't have kids yet, but I do have two dogs. My dog, who is an angel, and my husbands dog (I mean monster). Sometimes I just have to put the monster in his kennel and walk away. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that with children.
