Haha, I love the 500 count thread count sheets we received as a wedding gift but I'm getting sick of looking at the same orchid color.
I am looking for new sheets (All white) but they are so expensive in California King size!

DH is a sheet snob... I'm actually considering buying him a 1000 count sheet set for his birthday in March! At Kohls you can get them for less than $100. We have some from Target that are 500 I think and we love them - they're so soft. We also have a set that is 200 and I hate them. We never use them
Maybe from hereon out we'll get 500 plus.

I don't think so. I always feel the fabric before I purchase though so if I don't like the feel/softness of it, I don't buy regardless of the thread count.
Does anyone have bamboo sheets? I was recently introduced to it and OMG, they feel amazing!! I didn't purchase them because they were like $180 for the bedsheet and two pillow cases, but will definitely be keeping an eye out for deals on them.

@pelikila: Agree wholeheartedly here. Sateen sounds so nice. We bought a set once. Gross and pill-y within like 2 washes.
