We don't. I get soooo jealous of people who have storage space!! We have a scuttle hole attic that we have to use a ladder to get into, it's in our laundry room. I'm considering having a contractor come out to look at it to see if he can put up pull down stairs and to see if he can add some space up there. We currently have just a 10x10 square to store things. All I can fit up there is our Christmas stuff!
Do you have a walk-up or in attic? If not, how do you store things?

Walk up but it's very shallow so not enough for storage. But we have a basement

We just have a pull down ladder to get into ours and there is no storage space. With as hot as the attic gets the majority of the year (texas summers) I wouldn't want to store anything up there anyway.

We don't have a basement, our house is on a slab. Our attic is pull down, and it's almost the full length of the house, but I prefer not to use it for much. There is nothing up there right now.

We have a pull-down attic door, but we never put anything up there. I wish we had a walk-up attic and a basement. All our storage goes into the garage.

Pull down ladder but I don't know if there is storage room or not. Never been up there. We have a full basement so everything is in there. Once we get it finished it will still have room for storage.

We have a pull down attic. It scares the crap out of me lol - I'm always afraid some creature will come flying out of it when we open it. We don't really store anything up there though.

We have a pull down ladder. We have a ton of space up there but we aren't using any of it. We have a lot of closets and not a lot of stuff since it's just two of us.

We have a pull down attic over the garage; it gets stupid hot up there so we only store things like decorations that won't melt up there.

Both! We have one that you can access from the ceiling upstairs (never looked in it, probably should), one that comes off the stairway that's finished and great for storage, then three small doors to access unfinished parts from the bedroom and hall and then a good size walk in attic space off our closet.

Walk up via a pull down ladder. Storage space isn't big up there, but better than none!

@mediagirl: it sounds like we have what you have. We actually made our crawl space into an attic. There was an access panel so my husband put down plywood & installed a telescopic ladder.
It's large but you can't walk. The telescopic ladder was bought on amazon, I think, and my husband put it all together in a day.

We have an attic that has a pull down ladder. I've never been up there though. We have a storage room in our basement we keep things.

Our attic has a pull-down ladder that's in upstairs hallway. It's the same footprint as our house, and your can walk around standing up in there. We don't have anything in there except some insulation and our whole-house fan (although a family of birds was living in there for awhile! o.O), but we also have a full basement that is FULL of crap

@mediagirl: pull down stairs are easy peasy! Call your builder, (your house is newish, right?) Whoever trimmed it should be able to put them in for ~$200ish.
We have an attic access door, so it's a short door, about 3' tall.. once you get in it you can stand up in the attic.

None of the above! No attic, basement, nothing. Our building has storage but it's for bikes and AC units.
