I'm home alone with the baby a ton...the house we live in now doesn't have one, but I know the neighborhood and it is quiet here. We are moving to a good neighborhood, but busier and it makes me a little nervous.

Our house is wired with an alarm system, but we never activated it when we moved in 3 years ago.

We have one and it absolutely makes me feel a lot safer...We live in the burbs in a really family-oriented neighborhood, but you just never know...And with my DH gone so much for work, it's really a must for me and little H:)

Yep, I really like having it. Gives me peace of mind, even though we live in a nice area! My parent's home was robbed about 18 years ago, so that fear has always stuck with me. Even after all that time.

Yup! I live in a great family friendly neighborhood, but my house was broken into. When that happened, I got an alarm system. I love since DH is gone a lot.

Yup! I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood also, but it's just nice to have. Plus, it'll be super useful once our LOs are bigger and try to sneak out of the house! It'll notify us. lol

Yes, I made it a requirement before we moved in. DH works a very different schedule than I do so the dog and I are home alone a lot.
