We have 2 this year!! One is up high where we can't see inside the nest but one of the parents is always on the nest, in watch mode. No matter how close you get, that bird does not move! The other one is a little chickadee in a planter in our yard! I'm excited to hear the babies chirping!

We do! We have a swallow's nest in the corner of our alcove for our apt. It's dirt & attached to the stucco. They keep adding to it every year. They are painting our apt buildings though so it will probably get knocked down soon.

Awww! My parents have one. There's a sparrow nest on the AC in my old room and I listen to them sing every time we visit. And now they're raising babies too!
@angelicone: oh no! I hope they at least wait till there's no one in the nest!

Yes! They keep building it in the same spot and DH keeps moving it. We feel bad because they are so nice, but they are above our outdoor table and we don't want a baby bird falling out in our food or on us.

we have two, but one was there last year so not sure if the birds are still using it!

We have a ton of trees that are on Army Corps of Engineers land that our backyard backs up to. I'm sure there are a ton of nests up there!

We have teeny tiny babies in the planter nest! They must have been born in the past day or two. Now that we know they're there, we're giving a lot of space to that mom and babies!

There is a nest on a deck support that robins use every year. There is also a rabbits nest somewhere in the front yard because we keep seeing tiny bunnies.

@Kimberlybee: @hellobeeboston: we're trying not to disturb them too much, but I love the fact that their nest is eye level! There's another nest in that bush from a previous year that as far as we can tell isn't being used, and another one in a bush at the back of the yard that's harder to look into.

We just discovered we have a goose nest and therefore are trapped inside because the geese will attack us if we go outside. Fun!

So I discovered that it is illegal to knock down swallow nests if there are eggs or babies in it, so going to find out what my apt complex plans are because there are definitely babies still in it.

I was actually trimming our bushes yesterday and screamed when I found one. There were 3 babies in it that I saw and when I went back to take a picture the mom had returned. Goog thing since I was afraid my trimming may have disturbed the nest too much.
