I had news and due date month boards blocked for a bit but I was missing BFP announcements. I recently unblocked everything so I have access to all posts!

I can't take the tragically depressing news stories especially those about children. No, thank you.
Oh and Celebrities. I really could give two hoots about celebrities.

@locavore_mama: I think it was prompted by a post about debt or student loans. Other than sending the payment each month, I prefer to pretend they don't exist.

I have the due date twins other than November (which I belong to). I go back and forth on blocking celebrities because 99% of the time I could not care less about celebrity news. But then I get worried I'll miss something I might actually want to see.

Yes I have a bunch blocked but then I frequently sort by "Gold Topics" or "Date Posted" to see them all and make sure I haven't missed anything.

Yep. I have the IF board blocked because I have nothing to contribute there. I have all other month boards blocked. I also have the breastfeeding and pumping boards blocked because it's still a painful topic for me and I find the number of posts to be overwhelming; I'd rather not see them.

Yes. Most of the ones to do specifically with pregnancy and parenting. I don't feel like I can really participate anyway since I do not have any LOs yet.

Just the due dates. I blocked TTC boards for awhile, but then I was missing out on topics I actually liked, so I unblocked it

@Mrs. Polish: Under "Archives" on the right, the very last link is "Gold Topics" and it will show you just the gold topics

No. Like @mrsjazz: I just don't read the threads that don't spark my interest, but I like my options to be open.
BTW, I don't even know how to block a board if I wanted to! Where do you do that?

@anbanan15: Go to your profile, press "edit" beside your user name. On that page there is a link that says "CUSTOMIZE THE BOARDS SHOWN IN MY FRONT PAGE". Then just uncheck the boards you do not want to see!

I don't block anything, just skip over what doesn't interest me.

I think I blocked a lot of the other month boards.

I block sleep training only because it's hard for me to read about the awesome sleep people are getting after they sleep train.
