I really want to take our first trip as a family of four this summer. It would most likely be to a family friendly place like Great Wolf Lodge (an indoor water park for kids), Sesame Place, or Dutch Wonderland (an amusement park for kids). I know Charlie would have so much fun!

We are going to a local lake for my family vacation in a couple weeks, but it's only 1 1/2 hours away. Otherwise we have no plans for any additional travelling!

We are going to spend 4th of July in London because we have to go to the US Embassy on the 6th to apply for LO's US birth certificate, SS# and passport.
We're also talking about going to Scotland this summer, probably late July-August.

Charleston is only a 2-3 hour drive for us, so we're going down there for a long weekend probably sometime in July (as a belated anniversary trip). Then we're hoping to go on a cruise before school starts again!

We have the same idea ... might go to Sesame Place or something like that. But it's so nice in NY during the summer that we usually don't go anywhere.

Yes! We are going to the Outer Banks -- DH's college buddies and wives rent a vacation house every other year and do a summer trip there. We are sooooo excited. Also, I'll be in my 2nd tri by then so we can debut the pregnancy to everybody there

We're going to NYC! Actually we'll be spending lots of time in Park Slope because that's where my sister is and she's getting married. We'll be traveling around a little bit to visit family. I'm hoping to catch a play, but I'm not counting on it.

We have two vacations - and I'm nervous as heck about LO and whether he'll sleep alright!
We are going to Lake Vermilion near the Canada border in MN, renting a lake house with my whole family (sisters, brothers, parents) for a week. I'm so excited!
Then only a few days later we're spend the 4th of July week in NYC!! DH's family lives there, so we'll be visiting them and our other friends.

Hubby and I are moving to MD in June!!! Labor day weekend (er we can argue it's still summer right), I'm running a 1/2 marathon in VA beach and we'll spend a couple of days/ DH bday at the beach. It'll be a welcome break after the bar exam this summer- that's my immediate priority womp womp womp!

Going to South Dakota to visit Laura Ingalls Wilder's hometown (yes, my sister and I are nerds) over the July long weekend. Going to Toronto for a wedding in August and going to Nova Scotia/PEI/New Brunswick at the end of July! It's going to be a busy summer - I can't wait!!!

I sooooo want to but we haven't been anywhere involving an airplane since LO was 5 months old and I'm a little scared. He is almost 14 months now and we are going on a mini getaway to the next state with our friends and their children. But I'd like to take a trip that involves an airplane ride...still looking for the right ideas.

I'm leaving tomorrow to spend 10 days visiting family in GA and NC. My husband, bil, and I are going to spend a long weekend in Corpus Christi in July. We'll probably spend a couple weekends sailing around the gulf too. To end the summer my husband and I are going on a cruise to the Bahamas with about fifteen of my family members.

Probably a couple road trips up to MN to visit DH family. I just want to say on a side note, I LOVE Great Wolf Lodge! They have it in the Dells here in WI (Wisconsin Dells, if no one has heard of it it's basically a city devoted to outdoor and indoor water parks) Its awesome!

We, along with DH's family, will be spending the last week of June on a NC beach. We'll be driving down, and I'm not terribly excited about spending 9 hours in the car at 33-34 weeks pregnant (but we have lots of planned stops).
We're also toying with the idea of spending a weekend up near Lake Placid (around where we honeymooned) some weekend in mid-July....a last weekend get-away pre-baby.

We're going home to Ontario for my brother's wedding in June, and then to Newfoundland in July for a couple of weeks, and then to Vancouver Island in August for a week, and then to the interior of BC for another wedding in September! Oh, and to Banff for a week in August too. Exhausting just to think about it!
