Ugh I have bad teeth too. We didn't have dental insurance growing up so I never got regular cleanings. And my parents didn't make me floss every day. I had so many cavities. Now I have 3 crowns since the old silver fillings ruined my teeth. I am definitely going to teach our kids how to take good care of their teeth. It also helps that we have great insurance.

I have great teeth and *knock on wood* have no cavities and no fillings. It must be purely genetics because I am really lazy with flossing. I also had braces when I was younger.

I had no idea sleeping with your mouth open softens your teeth!

I do but my husband doesn't. We both hope our kids get teeth like mine!

I used to... then I turned 20 and got my first cavity. It's been all downhill from there. I think I've had a cavity every year since then.

I feel like I have pretty decent teeth. Not to toot my own horn but I often get compliments on how white they are and straight without braces. My husband though needs some dental work.

In terms of health, yeah I have pretty easy teeth. I almost never get cavities, have had several sealants to prevent but never any invasive work, etc. I've had several teeth pulled but only because I have small jaw so there was overcrowding. In terms of straight, I went through 3 years of braces so no way.

I had tons of orthodontic work but my teeth are now straight and white.

I am getting my first filling ever tomorrow!!

@Jennimac: ya I have a pretty big mouth. Actually now that I think about it that is my husbands problem. He has the tiniest little mouth ever. Like he can't even get his tongue down to see his tonsils. It's crazy!

I had braces, and recently had my first cavity filled. Boo!
