@MoonMoon: We try to tidy a bit but unfortunately, it is often not super neat. She tidies as she goes and moves things to clean.

Cleaners come every two weeks. I look forward to the day when I can afford to up it to weekly. It is just so amazing to come home from work to a gloriously clean house!

I wish...I would love someone to come clean my house.
What I'd really like is to hire someone to finish unpacking, organizing, and decorating our new house

Cleaning lady twice a month, but it's honestly not a luxury here. Everyone has one, even recent college grads making nothing!
I also have a "nanny" who comes 2 days a week so I can go to doc appointments, shop, etc. All stuff that is way easier without a stroller and crying baby! This is definitely a luxury and I'm very grateful to have it. I just don't have it in me to be with him 7 days a week, much as I love him! And I have a lot of anxiety about doing stuff with him, even play dates and stuff. So the other 5 days I am a recluse and CRAVING interaction!
Once I go back to work full time I'll bring her on full time. So I'm glad he's already very familiar with her (she's been with us since he was 8 weeks and he's now 9 months).

Nope. We have a small place so I don't find it that hard to keep up with things.

We hired some help with landscaping this year, but that's all. Now we will just maintain what he did!

I pay the neighbor's teenage son to mow my lawn. DH can't do it and I got pregnant shortly after we bought our house. It's definitely necessary. I don't have a mower and with a newborn I don't have time to mow anyway.
I just hired a nanny for one day a week while I WOH. Also necessary!

We hire a guy to open our pool in spring and close it in fall - otherwise we do all the other chores for the house/yard.

We have a cleaning service come every 2 weeks and a lawn service as needed. We live on almost an acre and both work full time so lawncare is essential. I still cant convince dh to cancel the cleaning lady though. I don't think it's 100% necessary but he does NOT want to clean.

@Ra: haha omg brilliant. That I would pay for!!!!!
But seriously, for those that pay someone to mow/trim their lawn. How much is it and I assume the size of your property makes a difference?
