Today is me and DH's four year anniversary 
We don't work Fridays, so my mom is watching Cobi and we're going rock climbing! We've never done it before so I'm excited!

We had our 4th in March- we went out to dinner the night before, went to our ceremony site (the zoo) then had a baby the night after
I want to start planning our 5th anniversary- do an overnight somewhere, especially if we have family in town for E's first birthday.

Ours is coming up soon and we were just talking about what we were going to do today. Our anniversary is in the middle of the week so normally we'd plan for a weekend but we're going to a friend's wedding and then I have a concert that weekend so we might end up doing nothing.
And Happy Anniversary! I've always wanted to go rock climbing, sounds fun!

Cool! I love climbing! I used to boulder daily when I lived out west with my dog (real safe spotter, I know!) I hope you have a good time!
I have no.idea. I haven't even thought about ours. LOs birthday is all I can think about! I cannot.remember. what we did last year because lo was crazy newborn days. It will be our fourth as well! Time flies!

Happy Anniversary!
We celebrated our 5th this past September. We did 3 days/2 nights away at a hotel/winery on the same property as an outdoor concert venue. We had so much fun the first day eating good food and drinking lots of wine. We had an amazing brunch and spa treatments the next day but it was sooooo windy. The concert ended up getting cancelled (Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson) for the first time in the venue's history bc the high winds made it unsafe
. Not sure what we'll do for our 6th bc I'll be 7 months pregnant

@MrsH: oooh that is super fun! I want to do that. I told DH I want to go to disneyland or disneyworld when I graduate as my present lol like we'll have any money after paying all that tuition
@Greentea: thanks! We're newbies! I found a place about an hour from here that has a big indoor climbing wall and they give all newcomers orientations on the spot. I'm excited to try it!
@lemondrop: haha that's awesome! In 2012 we had J just about two months before our anniversary and we didn't do anything for that one. Maybe a kiss and saying happy anniversary lol we were tired and not ready to leave him with a sitter yet.

@Mrs. Pen: the plight of the tired new parent! We had our second anniversary 10 weeks after C was born, and we took him with us to the steak house where we had our rehearsal dinner. He slept for most of it, but halfway through had a major blowout and shit up to his neck! Very memorable, a naked sleeping baby in a nicer restaurant

Our 4 year was last week. We just went to dinner & went on a little hike/walk by the water. It wasn't much, but it was nice!

@Mrs. Pen: yes, having tomorrow at least is better than nothing! If DH has to work till 9 our celebration will likely be takeout and me crashing on the couch by 10pm. WOOHOO. No sitter means no make up. You're lucky mom lives nearby and is able and willing to babysit!

Happy anniversary! Our 3-year is in June. We're going to use a gift card we've been saving to a nice restaurant to go out to dinner. I'm pregnant and sooooo sleepy all the time, so we'll be lucky if I can stay awake through that!

My anniversary is June 4th and DD's birthday is June 7th so we are going on a little beach trip from the 4th-6th and then having a bday party on the 7th. I think this is going to become an annual trip

Happy anniversary! Our 5th is in August and we are going to spend two nights in Paso Robles wine tasting. I'm so excited, DH is working his connections and got us one night comped for the hotel room and two private VIP wine tours.

Happy anniversary!
Ours is August 4th and I'm going to ask DH to take the day off (he has vacation days to spare) so that we can take our kids up to a beautiful little lake town north of here for lunch and walking around. It's not incredibly romantic, but it's the same place we went to the day after our wedding and then for our first anniversary. We took C for our first anniversary and will be taking two kids for our second! Life is crazy.

@blackbird: FUN!!! We did that last year - my mom watched J overnight and we stayed at an awesome hotel, had a fancy dinner and just spent some good quality time together. We may do it again next year.

We haven't decided yet-- our 4 year is in august. Dh has a business trip in New Orleans right before and I thought about tagging along but that doesn't seem so fun since dd would only be 4 months and it'd be so hot... Last year we weren't together on our anniversary
BUT I got my bfp the day after, which was the very best present ever
