I do maybe 50% of the time. Last night I did. He got home at 12:30 am and then we went straight to bed.

Totally!! My DH works night shift and has done for over a year. I still struggle. He works in a high risk job so the worrying has a lot to do with it I guess... I'm still hoping ill get used to it!

Yep! It's rare that he's gone, but I always wake up in the middle of the night.
He's actually going camping over night this wknd, so my mom might come over and spend the night so I'm not alone; since she was going to come over to help me clean on Sunday anyway

Not anymore. He usually leaves Mon morn and gets home Thurs night, so I had to get use to it. It is hard but sometimes it is nice having the bed to myself so I can really spread out

Not usually. If I freak myself out then I have the dogs sleep with me, but that doesn't happen often.

I do, just because I'm such a heavy sleeper so I'm afraid that if I do go to sleep LO will wake up and scream and I won't hear here. He's a light sleeper so he's the one who wakes up when she cries.

Yes. I will hear every creak or shift in the house and it freaks me out. I think I would end up in M's room, sleeping on the floor with a shotgun if he traveled a lot.

Yeah. I'm not afraid of being alone and I'm fine when I'm asleep, but it takes me a lot longer to fall asleep without him.

YES! I get so freaked out. He was out of town for work last week, and it took me TWO hours to fall asleep, even though I was exhausted.

@Andrea: yup. Cuz then I'm outnumbered by the kids, ahhhhhjhhh!!!!!!

Yes. Sometimes it's hard to fall asleep because I start hearing things like the floors creaking and stuff like that.

If he's going to be out of town or out super duper late, I'll go to sleep without him. Do I miss him, and rather sleep with him? Sure, but with our crazy schedules, you need to sleep when you can.
If he'll be home late a couple hours, I normally stay up waiting for him.

Yes I do. I wake up more frequently and have difficulty going back to sleep

Like @Minnie_Girl: I'm not afraid of being alone but it takes me way lot longer to fall asleep without him.

Yes! I have a very hard time going to sleep when we're apart. I tend to just stay up until I absolutely can't hold my eyes open anymore. LO and I are visiting my parents now, and although it has been wonderful, I'm ready to get home so I can get some rest!

I didn't until we had a baby. Then every tiny creek or noise made me jump!
