yup..it's in our filing cabinet with DH's. his is weird - it's a little laminated card! mine's a full sheet with all sorts of info..but they're both certified. interesting how different towns and cities do it differently!

Yep, I have two copies: one is a laminated wallet card and one is a full page. We have two copies for DH as well, although his are unusual in that they have different mothers listed (he was adopted by his step-mom but we have his original birth certificate which lists his birth mom and is actually no longer legal plus a copy of his current legal birth certificate).
You might be able to contact the state you were born in and request a copy directly from them, in case your mom doesn't have one.
