WHAT? A.spider in your soup?!

Pizza Hut...got sick twice from it and can't eat it again.

Doritos, had the flu and got sick from them (including dorito chicken which was my favorite meal to make.)

I can't drink 7-up either...reminds me of being sick as a kid!

Yep. Dairy Queen blizzards make me throw up, every.single.time.

YEP. I used to love Trader Joe's corn dogs and there was a grisly bit in one one time and I've never eaten them since (and probably never will again).

We also refuse to eat at Charlie's subs and Chilis, even though we like the food at both, because the last 2 times we went to each place we both got stomach aches.

If I found a spider in my soup I'd probably never eat ANYTHING out of a can again haha.

The only thing I don't hold grudges against are natural foods (like I found a worm in a tomato one time but I didn't stop eating tomatoes, I just made sure to check them carefully for a long while.

@autumnlove: I found a little worm in a can of Amy's organic soup once. It actually didn't bother me too much because it made me feel like it seriously must be organic, a little garden worm was on the veggies! But I called customer service and they sent me a whole bunch of coupons for Amy's products.

I do! Once I didn't even easy the food, I was having a dream I was eating this toffee candy and woke up throwing up, I haven't touched it since and I was a kid when it happened. I got cold chicken nuggets from Wendy's once and haven't eaten a fast food nugget since.

I hold the other kind of food grudge too, my husband ate my leftovers from my favorite takeout place (that we drive by multiple times a week) and I grumped about it for days.

I got a stomach bug at the beginning of my pregnancy (and I was already dealing with morning/afternoon sickness) that started the morning after a dinner at a Greek restaurant. It was the kind of sick where you can't even keep water down, sleep next to the toilet, and basically want to die. No more shawarma for this lady

I won't eat Subway because there was one near our old building downtown. I can't forget the gross yeast smell that wafted from it. Keep in mind, we lived near a chocolate factory, so the competing smells sucked.

@autumnlove: I would probably never eat any canned soup again. I would be scarred for life.

I suppose I do hold food grudges. I don't remember anything that bad ever happening to me though!

One time I ate eel (sushi) and it made me really sick. I used to love it, and now I wont touch it at all anymore.

I had food poisoning last week from pizza and the thought alone makes my mouth start to water again. I love pizza too, but this was the lay by the toilet, throw up for 20 hours kind so I am not going to be having it for a while...

DH got food poisioning from Steak n Shake that we had for lunch. It hit him after we ate dinner. So he still won't let me make a homemade pizza again 4 year later, after he watched it come back up.

Yes! It took me a reaaaaaally long time to eat sushi again after I got food poisoning once. And I love sushi.

I never went back to that sushi place ever again though.

i got sick in high school after eating a deviled egg. i have never even looked at one since. that had to be over 15 years ago!

Yup. There's an old cafe/restaurant in town that was bought by the sweetest Korean couple. I the mom and daughter and she loves us. But her husband has been serving us crap food It was the first place we visited (for sushi) on our way home from the hospital right after I'd given birth. He sold DH a plate of bad amaebi and I know the wife got mad at him when he was packing it up.

I forgave him. Then the next few times, he's been serving badly cooked fried rice and soggy deep fried food. I'm so sad. I miss going there, but if he's the only one there, the food is appalling! When his wife prepares the food, it's great!

We've stayed away all summer because of the food, but I miss his wife, so we're probably going to stop by soon.

Heck yes I do! I used to love a local place until they gave me pink burgers a few times when I was pregnant and asked explicitly and repeatedly for well done.

@autumnlove: I'll still eat sushi, I just avoid sushi with eel in at all costs! *shudder*

Yes. I got violently ill after eating at Five Guys once- and so much gastric pain I was thisclose to going to the emergency room. I'll never touch their food again.
