Do you invite LO's friends from daycare or nanny shares to their birthday parties?
I wanted to for her first but DH said lets wait till the second. If they're still around and they still like to play together then we'll invite them.
I just thought since she sees them 5 days a week it would be fun! And a nice way to meet more parent friends.

We've been invited to my son's preschool friends' birthday parties. And we've only been there 1 month! It's SO much fun. I love going to those. We definitely will invite the whole class when his birthday comes around next year!

Not at 1. We didn't invite anyone from daycare. I noticed that other parents did a general invite that they put on the info board, though. That was...interesting.
We won't have a party at 2 and I'm not sure yet what we'll do after that...

We waited to have a birthday party with daycare friends until age 3. That's just what made sense to us since prior to that, she didn't even really understand it was her birthday..
DS actually got an invite to a party at a bounce house place for a day care friend turning 2, though. We didn't go...

We did, but she wasn't in daycare yet then. My friend runs her daycare and another friend sends her child there. So we didn't invite ALL of her (now) daycare friends, but some of them

if he was in daycare, and he had an awesome little daycare friend(or 2, or 3...) i'd probably invite them.

I wasn't going to but maybe I should? The thing is, DD will be 3 at her next bday, and she only goes 2 days/wk. we have plenty of other friends and family outside of daycare, so it would mean literally doubling the guest list, from 20 to 40 kids. And that's not even siblings and friends!
Ok, I think I just talked myself out of it. I'll just bring cupcakes to school on her bday.

@locavore_mama: 3 including his 2 besties and his 2 teachers showed up... it was a holiday weekend so a lot of people were out of town. I always talk to the parents at daycare and LO loves his friends, so why wouldn't I invite them??
so, true story, B started back at his old daycare yesteday, when he saw his bestie across the playground, he ran at him and gave him the boy equivalent of a hug... He missed his BFF.
