Aside from stuffed animals in her bed, we don't keep toys in her room.

She has some stuffed animals and a couple small toys in her room to keep her occupied while I'm putting away her laundry, cleaning, etc. Most of her toys are in the living room.

We keep quiet toys in his room. Like books and puzzles and legos. He likes to spend some quiet down time in his room before bed. It helps him relax and unwind. No electronic toys or anything that requires major physical activity.

He has a few toys and a bunch of stuffed animals in his room. We're still trying to get unpacked and moved around. Once we're done, I hope to have all of his toys down stairs and only stuffed animals in his room.
