It seems like most people these days have their kids on a schedule since everyone's busier than ever and I guess it just organizes chaos. I don't think previous generations followed schedules so closely though. It was more freestyle I guess?

I've kept my LO on a schedule since almost day 1 since I don't like surprises. However, sometimes it does get monotonous. Like I've been giving her a bath at 6:15 pm every night for the past 18 months now (except for weekends when DH does it). I think a schedule is great and I wouldn't go without one but sometimes I do get tired of it. How about you? Are there ways you've found to keep the routine interesting?
