If you keep them long, do you trim & file them or just cut the nail all the way off & grow them again?
I keep mine long & I trim them. I don't remember the last time I really "cut" my nails!

@Happygal: once mine get to a certain length I feel like I can just feel how long they are & that's when I trim them.

Long. If I break one I will cut them all and am always sad. I usually trim them down when I keep accidentally stabbing R.

Usually short, but they grow pretty fast so I cut them whenever I get around to it!

@cheesetomywhine: haha when mine get "too long" it's like I forget how to use my hands completely. I accidentally stab LO or myself or suddenly I jab the cabinet door when I try to open it lol it's so weird.

Short. On farm, long nails are just disgusting. They can hold way too much dirt!

@swedishfish: Yes! Sometimes they get annoyed b/c my nails are so short and they're hard to paint. And they'lll yell at me for picking at my cuticles too
