I try and keep them like... medium lol? Idk, like just a little bit over the "lip" of my finger? Sometimes if one breaks shorter than that I just cut them all that length. I don't keep them very long because that makes it hard to type.

Short. I just clip them when they start bothering me.

Medium and trimmed. If one breaks, I'll cut it all the way down because I hate those annoying "fault" lines that just end up getting caught on something and ripping. ouch!
