DH's cousin has 3 boys. Two are really close in age! Her house is pure chaos! Haha.

My grandmother had FIVE boys before she finally had a girl! And then she had two more boys!!

Yup. My sister has 3 girls and my uncle has 4.

Yep, I know several families that have three or four of the same gender! Now I could be wrong on this, as I didn't actually fact check it, but I was recently told by a friend that if you have a boy first, your chances of having future boys significantly increases with each subsequent birth. It was something like if you have two boys, your chance of having a girl for your third is only around 10%. I have no idea if that's true but looking around at families I know, I could definitely see it being a possibility!

My uncles stepson has 5 girls! I would die. My husbands mom is one of 7...6 girls and 1 boy(he's smack in the middle, 3 older sisters. 3 younger sisters)

plenty! a friend of mine has 5 boys! and DH's friends wife just found out she's pregnant again, with boy number 4!

also my mama had 3 girls before she had a boy. my DH has 4 sisters. one of his sisters had 3 boys before she got her 2 girls.

One of my uncles had three girls, one of which went on to have three boys. Most of my aunts had two kids each, almost all pairs of girls!

My grandparents had 9 girls in a row! The story that we've all been told is that grandpa initially hoped for a son, and the first few times the midwife would come out to tell him about the baby he would ask, "Is it a boy?" From about four on he would say, "It's a girl, right?" He was always happy about the babies, but had resigned himself to all girls. Well with #10 he asked if it was a girl, and the midwife said, no. He asked if it was a boy, and she still said no. He was confused until she told him, "It's TWO boys!"

I have a friend with 5 boys and 1 adopted baby girl and another with 4 boys, no girls. Then I know someone with 4 girls and one boy in the middle.

@banana: yup! My mom was one of four girls, and my great-uncle had 4 girls... then there was me and my cousin (both girls).

My brother was born right before or right after my brother was born.

So I guess I should have said my great-grandfather had 8 granddaughters and 2 great-granddaughters!

@banana: it was a disaster. but all 5 of them survived, and so did i! so, i count it as a successful disaster at least! i'm exhausted just thinking about it!!
