Our fridge has 3 compartments that each have a setting (humidity maybe??) from low to high.
One is for veggies
one is for fruit
one is for yogurt and lunch meat and cheese
I have NO clue how to use the settings. Do you?

Honestly, i need the space too much to care. ALL THE FOODS GO INTO THE CRISPER DRAWERS.

Ours has a lever that says humidity and hi and lo with a carrot on the hi end and an apple on the lo. Since I generally have both in there, and a ton of other veggies I just split the difference abd put it in the middle.

Nope. I don't use my crisper very much because I often forget that there is food in there and it goes bad.

Ha I have always wondered this! Can't wait to see if someone has the perfect crisper settings I can steal.

@blackbird: Hahaha, us too. Sometimes it's carrots, sometimes it's beer, sometimes it's leftovers... sometimes it's all 3!

My aunt was trying to explain this to me the other day and I was like ain't nobody got time for that. We just shove stuff in wherever it will go. I do put meat in one of the drawers specifically because I'm a freak about raw meat juices contaminating everything.

I put all my veggies in one and all my fruits in the other...then just follow what the crisper says to do. Mine has a scale like everyone else, but one side is labeled fruit and the other says veggie. I assume that's how it's supposed to be used.

I just slide the lever to the picture of the fruit or apple, depending what's inside. We have a separate drawer for deli items and cheeses with no crisper control.

I have that too but I def use it for anything if we need the space!
