haha. I haven't really decided one way or the other about this. I find it hard to make the right decision because I listen to a LOT of music with curses in it.

I do know that our youngest has started singing "I'm sexy and I know it" and that kind of bugs me... So I'm not sure to be honest!!

I haven't been able to decide how I'll handle this with a LO, because I listen to music with a lot of cursing and have since I was young. No idea how/why my super-strict parents overlooked the fact that I was listening to hard-core rap before I was 10. But just because I knew not to copy what they were saying doesn't mean my child will know too!

@mrbee: just an idea for something else to try. A good friend of mine had a LO who was a terrible eater. What worked really well for her was to let him stand on a chair in front of the sink, give him a few bath toys, and let him play with the faucet running. He would eat so much better.

@mrbee: hey they get full and clean up is a breeze! Sounds like a great solution to me!

But to answer the original question, nope...we don't listen to mainstream music anyways so it's not usually a problem. If we're at a place of business G is old enough to know it's language we don't use and just overlooks it which is better than the days when he would very publicly point it out... sure we'll get to go through that again here soon enough with P! O_o

Metric is my favorite band, and the other day we were listening to Guns, Gold, Girls, and she started saying 'off! off! off!', and I though hmmmmmmm. That really isn't proper.
