we usally take the stroller but I will take him out and let him walk around. he's 15 months so he is all over the place but I try really hard not to let us get in anyone's way or be a bother to anyone. But I really like to let him explore, he gets so excited!

Yup. I love letting her explore - she loves it so much. It is a lot of work making sure she doesn't cause too much of a ruckus though.

Yes, sometimes he just will not stay in the cart/stroller and I don't mind as long as he isn't pulling things off the shelves or tripping people up. lol.

It depends where we are and how much time we have. I took her in bath and body works before to pick up a quick gift and that was the worse experience ever. Being 8 months pregnant and chasing a toddler and picking up her mess in the stores isnt very fun!

the grocery store, no. i hate grocery shopping so i want to get in and out as quickly as possible. but a department store? yup! he loves it. it's always frustrating trying to get him back in his stroller.

Yes, I let him walk around and pull the basket. But if it is really crowded I keep him in the stroller and let him hold things.

Not usually, at least not at the grocery store. When I go to the grocery store I have his stroller plus a cart, so I don't have a hand to corral him if need be.
If we're at like Kmart or Target I'll let him go. Or if D is with me then they'll go off exploring together while I shop.

Nope. She stays in the stroller. But even in the stroller she usually grabs something from a rack. I don't go shopping that often though.

He hasn't done the grocery store with us because we rely on Peapod. At Target, he does. It's become our rainy day burn off energy place for him. On Saturday, we hung out in the toy aisle with him. What's funny was that there were tons of families there at 6pm on a Saturday night. Everyone thought he was cute and behaved well, so generally we do let him walk around the store.

Nope, I usually put her in a buggy Not the top part, the bottom part If someone is with us, I'll let her walk, but just us? Buggy, too much going on trying to shop and watch her.

No. She will go totally insane. So, she stays in the cart or the stroller or on a REALLY bad day, the ergo. She's 18m old. I think if we were in the mall and DH was with us, I may let her walk some, but usually if she does it for a minute she wants to do it the whole time.

Yep, but she's 13 months so she still likes to stay close to me. She loves being able to walk around and explore though
