There is a restaurant around the corner from my sisters house that serves ONLY bacon sandwiches. They are incredible. Seriously.

I like it, but it has to be crispy. I usually avoid most of it because it is too salty though

I LOVE super crispy bacon. I don't usually like it in dessert either, but there is a bakery near us that makes a maple bacon cupcake that I love. It's a pancake cupcake with maple frosting and bacon sprinkled on top.

I tried a maple bacon doughnut this past weekend. It felt like I was just eating a fatty doughnut - seriously, it just tasted like fat. Bleh. I do like the Vosges bacon chocolate bars. But never again will I have bacon on a doughnut.

@locavore_mama: Actually, the sky isn't blue . . . it just appears that way most of the time because blue light waves are more scattered than other colors because it travels in shorter, smaller waves.

Before I got pregnant, I loved it, after it was ok. When I'm pregnant, I have major aversions to it.

I like it somewhere in between....crispy on the outside, slightly chewy on the inside. I LOVED it before I got pregnant, and then it made me sick....I couldn't eat it at all. Now I'm okay with it again but I don't love it as much.

@mrs. wagon, have you tried baking it?...it's SO EASY, makes a ton at once, and you don't get any splatter. And it lies flatter...perfect for sandwiches, etc

@blackbird: I once baked a bunch for christmas morning... followed ina garten's directions of putting them on a rack with a cookie sheet underneath... everything was a RIDICULOUS greasy mess and took forever to clean. No more bacon for me.

I love bacon. There's a restaurant in town that makes spiced candied bacon strips (for bacon Caesars/Bloody Marys), and I maintain that it would be FANTASTIC in a chocolate chip cookie.
