We're planning my daughter's 1st birthday and can't decide which shrimp dish to offer...honey walnut shrimp or sweet & sour shrimp. The honey walnut shrimp has a sweet mayo sauce and the other shrimp has a sweet & sour sauce. I wasn't sure if everyone would like the honey walnut shrimp because of the mayo. But I hear it's a popular dish. Have you ever had it before? Do you like the mayo sauce?

Oh wow. So far it sounds like everyone likes the honey walnut shrimp. Might have to go with that one. I thought there were a lot of people who didn't like mayo!

I hate mayo but I know it's my issue. I would never expect someone to plan around it. Honey walnut shrimp sounds like the better choice.

I hate mayo, but I like honey walnut shrimp, I just try to pretend its not made from mayo! It doesn't taste like mayo either, so people need to get past the prejudice

i just had yummy honey walnut shrimp this past weekend!! so good...
my DH doesn't care for mayo, but the sauce for HWS doesn't taste too mayo-y if done right, you know? so he likes it too, and he is picky!

I have never had honey walnut shrimp! Sounds interesting. My favorite is coconut, I wonder if it's similar to the texture of walnut.
