We love Indian food! But our favorite restaurant we started boycotting about 6 months back so we haven't had Indian in a long time. 
There's a Groupon for a Indian place that has decent yelp reviews so I think we're going to try it for take out Friday!

Yum! I love Indian food, too. The best place in town isn't near our house so I end up buying stuff from Trader Joe's to satisfy my cravings for it.

I love Indian food, but there aren't any good places around us (we're in Bar & Grille country...). I make it myself sometimes at home, but it's never as good

Why did you boycott them?
I'm a fan. Garlic naan, paneer cheese, all so good!

@Happygal: they messed up our order and we found out after we got home. They would not refund our money, nor give a credit, nor remake it and deliver it out to us. They wanted us to bring the wrong item back and they will remake us another IF we went to get it. While everything else gets cold!
Bad customer service drives us away; no matter how good the food is.

Love, but I couldn't eat it while pregnant-- it did NOT sit well. I think I'm ready to try it again but our favorite place doesn't deliver to our new apartment. DH has ordered it a couple of times from other places and they weren't good.

I'm not a fan
I attended a rehearsal dinner at a really fancy indian place once and it was very very good... but we had this like 10 course meal. I don't like strong spices or bread, and I am a total carnivore, so that pretty much tells you why I'm not a fan of indian food!! The one time I went to a regular indian restaurant and ordered a dish (chicken tikka masala) I ate all the chicken out of the bowl, dipped the bread into the sauce a few times, had a few mouthfuls of rice... and went to McDonald's afterwards because I was still so hungry.

Love, love, LOVE Indian food! We just had curry for dinner tonight (and last night! Today was the leftovers) and I'm sad that now we won't have it again for a week or two. I never used to like it but got hooked here in Australia with the plethora of proper Indian restaurants everywhere. I think it's my favourite cuisine now!
Mmm, butter chicken, lamb korma, lamb rogan josh, biryani.....the list goes on and on! Yum, yum, yum!

I had Indian food once in Australia and loved it. I tried to find some in the states that I liked equally as much but unfortunately never did. So, meh. Not my favorite.

Nope! I'm picky! That's what we had at my BILs rehearsal dinner and I pretty much just had rice!

LOVE it! maybe my favorite, lots of great vegetarian options. Sadly my favorite take-out place closed, need to find a new one

Love it. Got the hubby addicted and we were getting takeout almost every week. Baaad. We moved though, so we have to physically go get it, which has curbed the habit.

LOVE. Our favorite place is in SF and we used to get it at least once a week when we lived there. Now we try to stop in a get takeout whenever we're in the City. This.place.is.that.good. Mmmm, you're making me hungry...

@locavore_mama: we get it the way they prepare it! Most of the stuff is pretty mild. M likes chicken 65 or whatever it's called. Indian version of chicken strips. She's a fan of curry so she'll eat some of that with rice too.

I moved back to my old neighborhood and I'm right near all the great indian restaurants in NY.
@locavore_mama: maybe you can stop by Jackson Heights and get some really good indian when you're in town.

Absolutely love Indian food! I'm just sad that I can't eat it for another couple of months due to my diet restriction (GD). I love the strong flavors and spices.

@locavore_mama: It's difficult to eat most Indian food without rice or naan, which is high in carbohydrates. Even my favorite samosa is off limits due to the pastry shell. Carbs = high glucose levels and a very sad momma.

I LOVE Indian food! I'm definitely an Indian food snob though after my time in India, so there aren't any restaurants in my city that I love, but they're definitely better than nothing!
@yin: I eat paleo and you can 100% eat Indian without grains/carbs! Just get a meat curry and/or some veggie/legume dishes like palak paneer, dahl and chana masala.

Or meeting any Korean Bees on here and accepting an invite to a homecooked meal! I will never be able to eat Korean food at restaurants!
