I've only had it once, in a "kale salad"...and it was terrible. I have a feeling it was the dressing and the fact that it didn't marinate long enough.

Very meh, but I eat it because it's so healthy. It is a staple in my husband's diet since he is diabetic, so I put up with it.

like it- I put it in smoothies and have sautéed it. I probably wouldn't eat it if I didn't know it was crazy healthy.

It's OK. I like baby kale in soups and salads, and kale chips are pretty tasty.

I love it, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist in this part of Europe!

I'm not sure... I've only had it on occasion and I still haven't tried the popular kale chips. They seems so healthy, it turns me off, HAHA.

I've only had it once. My mom makes this raw dressed kale salad her and my dad loooove and she insisted on bringing over for dinner. As my husband said "this tastes like…. lawn." lol. So no, we were not a fan. But I would probably try it again in other forms if someone made it for me.

Like it - use it in smoothies and sautee it to hide it in dinners sometimes. I do not like it raw, and definitely wouldn't choose to eat it if it wasn't so dang healthy

I don't really enjoy it, but I eat it. It's part of our meal plan a lot and I've made it tons of different ways, but I just prefer other greens more. I don't mind it when it is mixed into dishes, but I don't like salads where it is the main green.

I love it mainly for the health reasons. I usually have a big handful in my morning smoothie.
Last night i sauteed kale in olive oil and garlic, added a touch of cream and grated parmesan, pureed it and then tossed the sauce in some pasta shells. DD devoured it...didn't even realize it was kale.
@TemperanceBrennan: i find that the good kale salads are the ones that are drenched in bacon fat...:P

love its heartiness and slight bitter edge. i've been making it less since it's hard for LO to eat unless i braise it for an hour (he's 14 months and still eating things on the softer side).

I really love kale (and any dark green really) in all its glorious forms, but we stopped eating it (and all dark greens) after DH got diagnosed with gout. Too annoying to prep him separate veggies, although when I get kale in some other setting, its the most amazing thing in my mouth.

@Greentea: I eat it raw, sauté it, kale chips, throw it in soup!

I hate it. I tried to like it. I want to like it. I just don't. Same goes with fish and mushrooms...
