I always cook to have leftovers so I don't have to cook as often. Some of my family members hate leftovers and only eat freshly made food...it makes me glad to not live with them, ha!

I don't usually like leftovers but made a habit of trying to take leftovers for lunch over the last year.

Just had leftovers for dinner to tonight. Not having to cook gave us time to have a nice leisurely walk with the entire family this evening. So nice. I always make sure there are one or two nights in the week where I cook enough for leftovers.

@bluestriped bee: oh yeah, anything stewy is always better the next day.

I love leftovers- just not anything fried or turns mushy the next day.

I also love leftovers, but there are some things that just don't keep, even overnight . . . like some mac and cheese recipes, some kinds of bread, etc. But otherwise, bring em on!

Not really but I make extra so I always have some for lunch. I never know what to bring to work for lunch and feel like I eat heathier if I bring leftovers!

I don't always love leftovers but I try to bring them for lunch 3-4 times per week just to save money. I had a roommate in college who would never eat leftovers, so I always got free food. Woot.

I eat leftovers for lunch 4-5 times a week! I wouldn't say that I love them, but it's better than going out and spending more money!

It depends. Some things I love as leftovers, and other things I can't bare to eat again right in a row.

I'm not a fan. I almost never eat leftovers...probably because I hate most microwaved foods, and reheating leftovers in the microwave invariably does unfortunate things.

@BoogieBea: I definitely agree.
Now I want stew!!! LOL tomorrow night we'll have stew...

Meh, they're okay. I always end up with them, though because I can't figure out how to cook for two to save my life. I'll eat them for lunch or make my husband eat them for dinner.

I like leftovers. I grew up eating leftovers, and I never thought they were weird until I started working and had coworkers who ate out every day to avoid leftovers. So weird to me!
I don't really understand about reheating changing the food either. I've only seen differences if there's a creamy or buttery sauce involved.

@joyjoy: Microwaved/reheated foods frequently get a rubbery or dry texture, especially meats. It doesn't matter if they're covered or not, the process sucks the moisture out!

I'm sorta undecided about leftovers... Some things are awesome and I make extra of delicious things so I can keep eating it for day's, other things I have no interest in reheating. DH. Will eat anything leftover, so most days he takes leftovers for lunch.
