I'm torn between liking them and not liking them. Sometimes I really like them, but then I think they are not feminine enough like wegde boots or high heeled boots, and so they can be abit too casual. I've seen some good deals at target that I might go for. All for $50 or less. Do you like riding boots, would you wear them to work

I wear riding boots to work all the time. It depends on your outfit, but you can really dress them up. Especially with the right accessories like a scarf. I wear them with really dark denim skinnies or black skinny pants. A blousey top or something fitted with a cardigan dresses it up too.

Love them. I have a pair of leather black and brown ones, admittedly, they are casual, because they are flat.

Yes, they are what I wear for most of the winter. They are classic and never go out of style. They go easily with all different types of outfits and are only casual when you pair them with jeans.

I LOVE them. I have them in black and brown and they are a key part of my fall and winter wardrobe. I wear them with skinny jeans, but also wear them to work a lot with denim or tweed pencil skirts and with some dresses as well.

love love love! I have 2 pairs of Frye Melissa boots (brown and black) and they are basically all I wear all winter, with jeans or dresses and leggings or tights. I think they look professional, but then again I'm in academia so I don't need to be like corporate-level professional, I mostly just need to look more grown up than undergrads
eta: I can't really handle heels, so I always prefer flat shoes!

Absolutely love them! They're a staple for me...I have several pair. Wear them over/under jeans, with dresses, etc. Like others have said, they can be dressed up or down.

Love them and wear them to work on the fall and winter. I wear them with dresses and tights, or with skinny/fitted pants and blousey tops and long sweaters. They're fashionable, comfortable, and keep me warm! #fryes

Yes, I'm on my feet a lot during the day, and these really are more comfortable for me then heeled boots! Plus I think they're really cute with skinny jeans or skinny pants.

Love them! I'm wearing my pair right now with dark wash skinny jeans and a tunic-style sweater for casual Friday. I work in a museum and they're just the right level of dressed up for Fridays.

All my boots are flat, except one pair, which has a wedge. I haven't thought about it as I haven't really busted them out this season...I used to have a mix of heeled and flat.

Yes I like them, but the toe has to be a certain shape. I don't like ones that have too narrow of a toe... I like them to look a bit bulkier, if that makes sense.
I have a couple pairs--a Frye pair that is a mix between a riding boot and a cowboy boot. I love them.
AND I TOTALLY wear them to work. But, I am a writer/editor and my office is super casual. I don't see clients.

Yep I wear them all the time to work, I prefer flat shoes/boots due to bad knees, so they are about my only option in the last couple years. I think you can make them dressy enough!
